Do you make New Year resolutions? Do you always make New Year resolutions? Do you stick to them? Over the years I became discouraged with how I would make a resolution and then watch it go by the wayside. Not that I didn't want to stick with it....just too many distractions...and it was much easier to just let it..or them...go by the wayside.
One year...don't remember when exactly...I made a resolution to never make a New Year resolution. This is one I have been able to keep and have been quite happy with the outcome. Takes the pressure off...and I am able to enjoy watching each new year roll in and see what every day brings. Every day by the grace of God I can wake up and say..."This is the day the Lord has made...we will rejoice and be glad in it."
Kind of exciting....don't you think? Happy New Year!

I am right there with you on the resolutions, Beth. They seem to last as long as the holiday festivities.
