Today is Thanksgiving day.....actually... it is evening now. The day is just about gone.
I enjoyed a beautiful day. Although my children and grandchildren were not able to be here I was able to spend quality time with my husband and my mother. It was a real beauty of a day. Lots of sunshine and blue skies....and even the cool autumn air added something special to the day.
Mom fixed the turkey and my favorite man fixed his wonderful sweet potatoes. (It isn't officially Thanksgiving until he has made a pot of those!)
We spent the afternoon with mom at her place. It was nice to be at her table and share in good conversation.
I have a lot to be thankful for. The Lord has blessed me much more than I deserve. I would have nothing without Him.
